Textile In A Tube 2 Announced

Leap of Faith by Pat Pauly

Last year was the inaugural year for Textiles in a Tube sponsored by Greenville Technical College and held at their Riverworks Gallery in downtown Greenville, SC. This week they have announced a second year for this unique competition.

The exhibition invites artists to reinvent and expand the definitions of textile materials, process and concepts and to fit the resulting work in a 3" by 36" mailing tube for shipment to the show. It's an interesting challenge and one that was met successfully last year with exciting and unique work.

The juror this year is internationally exhibited artist, Kathy Loomis of Louisville, Ky. There will be a catalog and cash prizes. The entry deadline is May 4.
